Save the Bears

Asa's class is studying bears, and have launched a campaign of sorts to "save the bears." They held a little march at their school and everything, complete with placards and chanting.

(Inexplicably, Asa told his classmates that his dad hunts bears and eats them sometimes, so now all these kindergarteners think I'm a monster. Seriously. But I digress.)

I attended the official launch of their campaign, which involved the kids speaking in groups about grizzly bears, polar bears, panda bears (Asa's group), and sloth bears. Then they sang a song about bears attacking them (?), and finally told everyone in attendance to save the bears. And then they sang "The Bear Went Over the Mountain."
