The rains stopped long enough for the Early Years classes to hold their Mini-Olympics. I got to take the morning off and watch these little goobers sprint around like happy maniacs.
First up was some sort of dash. Fifty meters? I don't know. They ran, they laughed, they didn't keep score.
Next came hula hoop skipping races. Most of the kids tripped.
These are not my children, but they are cute, so I'll share the photos anyway.
Here's my guy.
Relay races. The kids had to be told not to drop the baton, throw the baton, hit each other other the head with the baton, hit themselves on the head with the baton, or try to eat the baton.
The throwing and kicking portion of the event was hard to photograph. I did my best.
But I paused to take pictures of these lovely flowers.
Then some jumping over of things.
And lastly the obstacle course.
And lastly some relaxing under the sun.
