"Animal Jam"

Asa played a monkey in the school production this year, a play called Animal Jam that was built around songs from the Sandra Boynton books. That's more or less all I understood about the plot, but I watched both nights of it because Asa was in it and kids in animal costumes are always adorable.

Asa's role was non-speaking but he was onstage almost the entire show, and stole a few moments with his monkey antics.

Of note, though, was that this was one of my first major forays with my fancy mirrorless camera, and one of the first times I've been able to apply Photoshop's new features to my own photos. So I had a lot of fun testing out my camera's capabilities. See below, a bunch of photos of children that I don't know but who were guinea pigs for my experiments in photography.
